On Tuesday 25th October 2011, NSW.net held our inaugural eResources seminar at the State Library of NSW. The event booked out within a week and was a great success.
The seminar explored the role of digital content in public libraries with a specific emphasis on:
- eBooks and public libraries
- web scale discovery layers and federated search, public library case studies
- marketing strategies for promoting eResources
- website design considerations for libraries
- eResource collection development strategies
- making your library collections and services accessible to mobile device end users, why it's important and how to do it
- National Broadband Network first release sites and associated library projects
